Minor Plot Hole: When Hercules is adopted by the family on Earth, Zeus and his wife watch over him, mourning their loss. During this time, Zeus apparently never mentioned how his son was stuck on Earth, still alive but unable to come home. Either that or Hades was never around during the possible public mourning Zeus must’ve initiated.
It takes eighteen years, conveniently when Hercules is fully grown, for Hades to learn that he didn’t die, and this begs the question if Zeus ever mentioned his son at all during his absence. He clearly trusted Hades and had no idea that he was behind the sinister plan, so why did Hades never find out about it?
Major Plot Hole: If Hades is surrounded by souls of the dead in the Underworld, why didn’t he check to ensure Hercules’ soul came in when Pain and Panic claimed to have killed him? Did he not suspect anything when Hercules was never amongst his collection of deceased people? You had 18 years to
Minor Plot hole: Wolverine temporarily loses most of his healing abilities but somehow never bleeds or keep scars when his triple 8-inches long adamantium claws rip through his knuckles’ skin.
Major Plot hole: Yukio is a mutant with the precognitive ability to know when someone will die. She showcases this mutant ability of hers by being wrong for the entirety of the movie about all her visions. She sees Yashida dying and yet he is alive at the end of the movie. She sees Wolverine dying and he never does.
Do you sometimes feel you have this incredible ability to know that somehow at one point anyone you encounter will die? Then I am sorry to inform you that you are a mutant. And based on your guesses in life, your visions’ accuracy might be slightly less shitty than Yukio.
Major plot hole: The following discussion was cut from the movie:

Iron Man 3
Minor Plot hole: Killian’s memorable henchman: bald no-name, pretends to be Rhodes by flying inside the Iron Patriot suit to join the President in Air force One. Here, we are presented with a comically bad non-exchange conversation where the President salutes Iron Patriot, his employee, and then proceeds to welcome him aboard even if he didn’t reply back with anything. Wouldn’t the President of the United States who was threatened by a deadly terrorist still at large have better security measures than simply accepting a man in a suit without any sort of confirmation that it is indeed Rhodes? The guy didn’t say anything, didn’t present any identification. Aren’t there people protecting the president with outrageous salaries to check for things like this? Not in this movie apparently!
Minor Plot hole: Why would Pepper go at the edge of her house WHILE it is collapsing? We see Iron Man falling with debris in the water – as more shit……
The Dark Knight Rises
Minor Plot hole: So the Gotham police force is finally out of the sewers after 5 months of increasing malnutrition and gay urges. Their plan? Find Bane’s army (soldiers with AK-47s and tanks) and charge them with a few handguns. No surprise. No surrounding strategy. Just a good old suicidal medieval B-line. It’s a miracle Bane’s soldiers also happened to be retards themselves and decided to fist fight trained police officers instead of mowing them down with their weapons. But one thing is even weirder: all the cops were clean-shaved. This means that aside from food – Gillette razors and creams were the number 1 item sent in the sewers.
Minor Plot hole: People on the internet complain that Batman appeared out of nowhere in Gotham city after leaving the desert. Those same people would probably call on the UN Security council for a drone strike on Christopher Nolan’s house if they considered the fact that Bruce Wayne had to spend days hiding around one of Gotham’s destroyed bridge to paint a batman symbol with gasoline. What is a plot hole ?
Plot holes are contradictions in a screenplay. The elements that are contradicted can both be mentioned on paper or implied by the premise and universe of the screenplay.
There are 3 types of plot holes : minor plot holes, major plot holes, and super plot holes. They all refer to the same basic concept but are separated by the reach their contradictions have on the overall story.
Movieplotholes simply tries to identify all of them in popular films. There are three other types of errors that can be found in screenplays and we encourage you to visit the definition page to see our in-depth approach to find them all.
